Our company was founded in 2002. Darren E. Somerville, MBA Mr. Somerville oversees corporate compliance, administration including human resources, and business process engineering and improvement. Before joining EthiCare Advisors, Darren held various financial management positions in 3 prominent pharmaceutical companies. His experience includes External Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis and Marketing finance. Darren also held key positions on several high profile business teams including an enterprise wide SAP implementation team, two business integration teams and the lead finance role on a UK based team dedicated to driving revenue growth of a strategic Consumer Healthcare brand. He has a BA in Accounting and minor in Computer Science from Lynchburg College in Virginia and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. Darren enjoys traveling, reading and attending sporting events.
Robert “Bob” W. Brink Mr. Brink oversees EthiCare’s operations including our team of coding experts – called Financial Case Managers. He is a decorated United States Marine having enlisted and served during the Desert Storm conflict in the Persian Gulf. Bob has held several positions including management in the customer service and hospitality industries before joining EthiCare Advisors. Bob enjoys outdoor activities with his children including leisure days at the park, photography, model aviation and golf.
Erik D. Fuglestad Mr. Fuglestad oversees EthiCare’s Disease Management program which includes the company’s very popular Cost Containment for Dialysis services. Erik formerly held positions at another cost containment vendor and worked for several years for a large dialysis provider in their corporate offices. Erik is a graduate of the
Caroline McIntyre, RPh
Ms. McIntyre oversees EthiCare’s pharmaceutical review program which includes cancer disease management and high-cost injectibles. Ms. McIntyre is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. She is registered pharmacist who has used her education in various aspects of the health care field. Caroline’s concentration as a pharmacist has always been focusing on the welfare of patients, which lead her EthiCare Advisors. Caroline felt there is a great need to help reduce patient’s medical costs to preserve their lifetime benefits, especially as they relate to the cost of medications. She enjoys traveling, skiing and spending time with her family.
